Lassi— is one of my favorite smoothies. Its made a milk, yogurt, fruit, honey, and cardamom. If you want to try it at home, you can pick up bottles from brands like Dahlicious, which contain 15 billion live probiotics per serving and are available in flavors like mango and turmeric, try this mango lassi recipe.

Yield: Serves 4 (serving size: about 1 cup)

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups 1% low-fat milk
  • 1 cup plain low-fat yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Dash of ground cardamom
  • 2 cups chopped peeled ripe mango, frozen (about 2 medium)

Directions:

  1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a blender
  2. Pulse to combine.
  3. Add mango to blender; process until smooth.
