Collard Greens may improve your cholesterol blocking potential, Ina recent study published by the journal of Nutrition Research compared the bile acid-binding capacity of steamed collards to the drug Cholestyramine and found that collard greens increased cholesterol blocking capacity 13 percent more than the drug.

Ingredients:
- One bag pretty cut fresh greens
- 32 oz low sodium or no sodium chicken broth
- One big white onion
- Sofrito garlic powder
- Olive Oil
- 16 oz can of diced tomatoes
Instructions:
- Rinse greens chop 2 cloves of garlic or 2 tbsp garlic powder.
- Lightly coat a soup pot with olive oil. Begin by softening big onion, then put greens chop and one container of chicken broth.
- Add a 16 oz can of diced tomatoes. The greens roll behind to wilt the broth.
