Some adaptogenic herbs

Panax Ginseng: Benefit-rich ginseng is one well-known adaptogen, and Asian ginseng (Panax ginseng) is considered by many to be the most potent. In humans, Panax ginseng has been shown to successfully improve subjective calmness and some aspects of working memory performance in healthy young adults.

Holy Basil: In recent years, researchers around the world have investigated the impact of holy basil on the body. Specifically, multiple studies have been conducted in mice and rats to observe its anti-stress activity

Ashwagandha: Traditionally, ashwagandha has been prescribed as a nerve tonic and daptogen—an agent which helps the body adapt to various emotional and physical stressors. It has classically been used in India for nearly 5,000 years for conditions such as failure to thrive in children, weakness and debility in old age, rheumatism, constipation, insomnia, nervous conditions, stress, goiter, joint inflammation, parasites, hormone balance, and more.

Licorice Root: Helping the human body in several different ways, one of licorice root’s most valuable characteristics is its ability to support the adrenal glands. Because adrenal burnout (also known as adrenal exhaustion) is fueled by chronic stress – which leads to fatigue – supplementing with licorice root can be an influential tool to help people with this common condition.
