While most meats are highly acidic, this does not mean that you should cut out meat altogether. You should balance your diet by making sure that you consume alkaline so it can counteract the acidic effects from the meat products.

Omega-6 fatty acids are the opposite – very pro-inflammatory, however, it is important that you consume these types of foods as it will give your body the perfect balance. To consume the right amount of Omega-6, you should look at including vegetable oils into your diet such as corn and soybean oil.

If you seek help from your doctor, while they may prescribe you with medication some may work at helping part of the problem but not the root of it. For example, if you suffer from a urinary tract infection, the antibiotics will remove this infection but may not remove the inflammation that comes along with it. Therefore, the medication may treat the symptom but not the problem, so it is important that you follow all of the necessary steps to reduce your silent inflammation.
